Isabell Seidel is a German visual artist who specialises in plein air painting in water-based media. In her work, the artist explores her tension between the natural and human-made world which she captures with vigorous brushstrokes in vibrant colours.
Isabell works on a wide variety of projects that always start in her sketchbook. Apart from plein air painting, she works on illustrations for companies and publishing projects, surface patterns for fashion collections, and commissions for national and international clients.

In courses and themed workshops, Isabell complements her artistic resources with her academic training [she has a degree in education, German philology and Hispanic philology] and extensive teaching experience.
Isabell is the founder of the Galician branch and has been a correspondent and administrator for the Urban Sketchers Spain collective for many years. Her works have won numerous awards in painting and plein air painting competitions.
