Brighton 2016 – Drawing People on Stage

Brighton’s setting is just magical with the old West Pier ruins as a backdrop on the seafront.  The May Festival is a great highlight of the year’s calendar and Rolf Schroeter, Swasky and Isabel Carmona joined the Brighton Fringe Festival with their Drawing People on Stage workshop on the last weekend in May.

There were people to be drawn everywhere, plays in the park, in the street, music in the pub, watercolour portraits with our morning coffee at The Marwood, busy shopping streets, the popular Palace Pier and a bit of rain and thunder too! We were noticed at our session at The Warren and were treated to free refreshments on the house.

Our venue was the quirky Marwood Cafe where we grew an exhibition on their upstairs lounge wall for the duration of the workshop.
